Net zero for scope 1 and scope 2 emissions
In line with our target, PEXA has mitigated its scope 1 and scope 2 emissions to net zero across the group for its FY25 reporting year. View PEXA’s Greenhouse Gas and Net Zero Report FY25.
Our net zero pathway has focused on emissions reduction, the purchase of 100% renewable electricity across our office locations and offsetting residual emissions. Our pathway to emissions reduction can be found here.
We are committed to continuing our emissions reduction initiatives, procuring 100% renewable electricity across our offices and retiring offsets/LGCs as appropriate for our residual scope 1 and scope 2 emissions annually.
We account and report our scope 1, scope 2 and scope 3 emissions in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards and produce annual emissions inventory reports. We are taking further steps to gather more data on our scope 3 emissions from our supply chain with the intent to reduce these emissions.
We have mapped our supply chain emissions and we are prioritising those categories with the highest spend and impact in our carbon management plans.
Our Green Office Spaces
We’ve focused on creating healthy and green workspaces for our people. In 2016, we relocated our head office to Collins Square, Melbourne. The precinct tower holds the following green ratings:

Our smart offices have motion sensor lighting and ‘follow-me’ print to reduce our energy and paper usage, and have been designed with collaboration spaces across the floors to connect and collaborate.

Climate and resilience
PEXA’s approach to climate is informed by the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS). PEXA is a ‘Group 1 reporting entity’ with our first compliance year beginning on the 1st of July 2025. Climate related activities form part of the group ESG Strategy.
In the FY25 reporting year, PEXA made significant progress aligning with the ASRS by assessing climate risks and opportunities and producing a voluntary Climate-related Disclosures Report.
The report demonstrates PEXA’s journey as we enhance climate governance, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and complete scenario analysis as part of our ASRS Roadmap.
PEXA Group’s Audit and Risk Committee provide Board-level oversight of climate matters and ASRS implementation.
PEXA continues to take a cross functional approach to the implementation of the ASRS with a dedicated cross-functional Steering Committee in place to integrate climate requirements across operations.
