A home for all
At PEXA, our diversity and inclusion mantra is Be You. We want all our team members to feel equally valued, supported and celebrated.
We’re contributing to a more inclusive society for our people, their families, our customers and beyond. We embrace our rich diversity that recognises differences and supports each employee in bringing their whole selves to work. Our active Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee drives to advocate for change, and collectively as an organisation we have a vision to be an exemplar organisation.
It is no longer about a ‘one size fits all’ approach to business and our employees and their families deserve more. This is why we embrace and empower diversity in the workplace and are committed to advocating for change, driving progress and supporting inclusion, so you can Be You.
Be You at PEXA
We have an active and passionate Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) committee. The committee advocates for a diverse and safe environment, increasing engagement and understanding of D&I, through regular events and celebrations.
This is supported by the wider business through targeted people strategies, to support a more diverse workplace.
Through our employee initiatives and market-leading benefits, we’re championing diversity and inclusion so you can Be You.
We are committed to supporting gender equality. We have uplifted our recruitment practices and processes to attract a diverse talent pool, remuneration and performance. We are encouraging our Ladies in Tech community. We benchmark our performance through the annual Workplace Gender Equality Agency report.
“Pride at PEXA” ally network connects LGBTQIA+ staff and allies through events and celebrations. We offer ally training to increase awareness, consideration and respect for gender diversity, sexual orientation and identity.
We know that 20% of Australians identify with having a disability. This could be a physical disability, intellectual disability, mental health condition and be visible, hidden, temporary or permanent. We focus on awareness, recruitment and ongoing support for those with a disability, as well as carers of someone with a disability, ensuring equal opportunities and access to all.
Our people represent a wide range of cultural backgrounds and we encourage and celebrate that diversity through unconscious bias training, uplifting recruitment guidelines and lunch and learn activities (such as Lunar New Year, Ramadan and Diwali).
Our commitment to gender diversity
Workplace equality is not just a priority, it’s fundamental to our success and deeply ingrained in our PEXA values. We are dedicated to cultivating an environment where individuals of all identities and backgrounds can bring their whole selves to work, and truly feel a sense of belonging at PEXA.
